Adam Sandler is an accomplished actor and comedian known for his blockbuster hits, Happy Gilmore, The Waterboy, The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, and Grown Ups. Sandler is one of Hollywood’s most successful comedians and producers, having delivered incredible films through his company, Happy Madison Productions.

Sandler emerged in 1987 when he played Smitty On the Cosby Show. Two years later, he starred in his first film role in Going Overboard. After a few excellent acting gigs, Sandler pursued a stand-up comedy career. At 17 years old, he was discovered by legendary comedian Dennis Miller, who saw Sandler’s set at the comedy club in Los Angeles. Thanks to Miller, Sandler was hired by Saturday Night Live in 1990. A few years later, Sandler appeared in Coneheads with Chris Farley, David Spade, and Airheads with Steve Buscemi and Brendan Fraser.

In 1995, Sandler starred in Billy Madison, followed by Bulletproof and Happy Gilmore in 1996. In 1998, Sandler was featured in Hollywood hits, such as The Wedding Singer and The Waterboy. For the next ten years, Sandler would star in several feature films, even earning a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. In 2008, Sandler released his highly-acclaimed film, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan. Apart from comedy, Sandler has been known to delve into drama roles in films such as Punch-Drunk Love, Reign Over Me, Uncut Gems, and more.

Besides his incredible film career, Adam Sandler has maintained his stand-up career and released multi-platinum-selling comedy albums. In 2018, he released 100% Fresh with Netflix, garnering rave reviews from critics. Sandler has received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award nomination, four Primetime Emmy nominations, 2 Critics’ Choice Movie Award nominations, and nine Golden Raspberry Awards.
