This is where superstars are born and discovered.  Catch the excitement of  college basketball at the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament happening  at the Mohegan Sun Arena – CT,  Uncasville, Connecticut.  The Naismith National Basketball Hall of Fame features eight NCAA Division I men’s basketball teams that will deliver hard court action that will take you to the edge of your seat.  On November 24, 2013, catch the  battle for the Naismith Bracket championship at 1:00 pm and at 3:00 pm, respectively.

“Once again this year’s Tip-Off Tournament showcases some of the nation’s best college basketball programs,” said John L. Doleva, president and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame. “We are excited to host the tournament again at the Mohegan Sun, and we are looking forward to seeing the great match-ups in November.”

The college basketball experience is a hodge-podge of energy, passion, drive, sporstmanship, and talent.  This has become the launch pad of some of the best-of-the-best basketball superstars we know today.  The colleges and universities that will be part of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off  this year are as follows:  University of North Carolina (ACC), University of Louisville (Big East), University of Richmond (A10), Fairfield University (MAAC), Belmont University (Ohio Valley Conference), Hofstra University (CAA), Holy Cross (Patriot League) and University of Hartford (America East).  This event is hosted and sponsored by The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
