Country maverick Brantley Gilbert is hitting the road hard this year with his extensive The Ones The Like Me Tour! Named after the second single from his smash-hit album The Devil Don't Sleep, Gilbert has been making waves across the US with his high octane-show and tickets have been selling like hotcakes:
“People tell you all kinds of things about marketing,” Brantley says of his tour’s name. “But I want to call it something that speaks to what this tour is: a chance for me to get together with all the people out there who get this music, who believe in these songs and live their lives just like the people back home do. We are all proud Americans, who try to stand up and do the right thing. That isn’t marketing, that’s life—and that’s what my music is made of.”
Brantley Gilbert is a country music singer, songwriter and producer, who began his career as a songwriter for Warner Chappell Publishing, writing songs for artists including Jason Aldean (“My Kinda Party” and “Dirt Road Anthem”). Gilbert came to fame in his own right in 2009, with the release of his debut album Modern Day Prodigal Son. After the release of his first two albums with Colt Ford's label, Average Joes Entertainment, Gilbert was signed to Valory Music Co., a subsidiary of Big Machine Records, with whom he released the albums Just As I Am and his most recent album, The Devil Don't Sleep. The album debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, and hit the number one spot on the Top Country Albums Chart, bringing Gilbert to an even higher level of commercial success and introducing him to a wider audience.
