The American soul disco band, The Trammps have been rocking stages since the beginning of the 1970's with their famous chart topping, dance floor boogieing hit anthems! Based in Philadelphia they gained success with tracks such as their cover of "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart". However it wasn't until their Grammy Award winning, "Disco Inferno" that they truly exploded on the scene and changed music history forever.

Their background started in the 1960's as The Volcanos and later changed to The Moods… with their change of line up with gospel singers, they re-shaped their sound and Motown was born. And the rest is history, endless hit tracks, they constantly smashed the top 20 US R&B charts and were featured on so many movies, commercials and TV at the time.
