Formed by David Coverdale after he left Deep Purple, Foreigner currently consists of Coverdale, Tommy Aldridge, Reb Beach, Joel Hoekstra, Michael Devin, and Michele Luppi. Their self-titled 1987 album was their biggest hit, certified Platinum a staggering 8 times and featuring the songs "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love", which hit the first and second spots on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively. After this the band broke up, but to fans’ delight, the split was short-lived, with an official reuinion in 2002. The band have been touring together ever since. Whitesnake have earned a Brit Award nomination and named one of the greatest rock bands of all time by VH1.
