Founded in 1998 by Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman (formerly Kimberly Roads), Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet, Little Big Town is an American country music group. Originally signed to Mercury Nashville Records, the band released their eponymous debut album on Monumnet Records in 2002. Despite minor success with the label, Little Big Town signed with Equity Music Group in 2005, releaing their second studio album, The Road To Here. The Road To Here brought the band mainstream success and received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). To date, the band has had 24 singles on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay, including the No. 1 singles "Pontoon", "Girl Crush", and "Better Man" and top 10 hits "Boondocks", "Bring It On Home", "Little White Church", "Tornado", and "Day Drinking".
