After spending summer 2018 on the road, Old Dominion will be hitting the highway again in the New Year, coming to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday 8th February 2019! The band will be stopping in as part of their Make It Sweet Tour, and with a highly anticipated third album waiting in the wings, brand new material will be the icing on the cake for fans! The group will also be joined by support acts Jordan Davis & Mitchell Tenpenny!
A five-piece formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2007, American country-rock band Old Dominion made their debut in 2014 with a self-titled EP. The band initially formed to showcase the band members' individual material as songwriters for other artists, including Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell, Randy Houser, Kenny Chesney, Kelsea Ballerini, Blake Shelton and Dierks Bentley, among others. In 2015, the group released its debut studio album, Meat and Candy, launching the singles "Break Up with Him", "Snapback", and "Song for Another Time". The band followed with 2017's Happy Endings. Having previously won the ACM Award for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year in 2016, their success continued in 2018 when they took home the award for Vocal Group of the Year.
