U2 at Mohegan Sun Arena

Consisting of Bono (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), the Edge (lead guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums and percussion), U2 is an Irish rock band that formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1976. Originally a post-punk group, the band released their debut album, Boy, in 1980 and they had their first number-one album, War, three years later. In 1985, the group appeared at the benefit concert Live Aid, which brought them international fame and in 1987 they released Joshua Tree, their biggest critical and commercial success. U2 are one of the world's best-selling music acts, having sold more than 170 million records worldwide, and they have released 13 studio albums to date. In 2005, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 and they have won 22 Grammy Awards to date, more than any other band.
